What our residents have to say...
We turned our large, empty family home into a freed-up, fun-filled life!
Our family home was too big for just the two of us and we were sick of mowing and maintenance. We didn’t want to leave our friends and clubs so we checked out Halliday Shores. We didn’t realise such an amazing retirement community was right on our doorstep. We couldn’t be happier!
I started worrying about needing care as I aged. Now I’m care-free and cared for all in the same place!
As a widow I did start to worry about my ongoing independence and the eventuality of needing care. Because Halliday Shores has ‘ageing-in-place’ I no longer have to worry at all!
It was often lonely living on my own. Now I’ve got all the company I could wish for!
As a retired bachelor, the thing that inspired me to sell my unit and move into Halliday Shores was the great social life they have here. There’s always an excuse for a party and there’s just as many single men and women here as there are couples.
Unlike many other retirement villages, Halliday Shores made our pet feel as welcome as we were!
Funny enough, the thing that clinched it for us at Halliday Shores wasn’t the beautiful seaside location or the fact that all the amenities and medical services we needed were right on our doorstep – it was that we could bring Rupert! He’s already made lots of four-legged friends and loves his early morning run on the beach.
When we’re away on one of our trips, Halliday Shores looks after our home – and when we’re home there’s lots of free parking for our Winnebago.
Because we love travelling around Australia, we needed to find a village that would look after our home and garden during our long absences and provide secure (free) parking for Winnie” on our return.
